Cars 4 Christmas
Road Warriors is the official car transporter for Cars 4 Christmas.
We donate our drivers, trucks and storage facilities to their
organization. Cars 4 Christmas is a non-profit organization that
provides free basic transportation to less fortunate individuals through
donations from the public and automobile related businesses. Since 1966
they have helped thousands of people get their lives restarted by
providing reliable transportation to those in need.
During Christmas
of 2005, Road Warriors also provided our services, free of charge, to
transport donated vehicles from Kansas City, Missouri to victims of
Hurricane Katrina in Houma, Louisiana. This donation was a combination
of humanitarian efforts by Cars 4 Christmas and Teams Together, Inc.
Teams Together
Inc.
Road Warriors is a corporate sponsor of Teams Together, Inc. They are a
nonprofit organization that specializes in disaster relief and personal
crisis restoration. They network with agencies, offering a helping hand
to communities, families, women and youth. They support the Katrina and
Rita Project, which provides practical assistance to families in crisis
due to the hurricanes, by filling in the gaps, educating, and
encouraging those in need.

satisfaction. Road Warriors Mission Statement: "To provide safe,
quality, professional, and efficient service nationwide to auto
auctions, automobile dealers, financial institutions, car leasing
companies, businesses, auto brokers, and individuals.
Trust Road
Warriors
Auto brokers are no longer regulated since Congress abolished the ICC
(Interstate Commerce Commission) in December 1995. The car hauling
industry is marred by numerous dishonest auto brokers. Consumers who
book transportation for their cars rarely talk directly to the trucking
companies. Instead, they talk to auto brokers who act as middlemen
between the customers and the trucking firms. Dishonest auto brokers
thus have every incentive to "lock up" customers with low prices which
requires non-refundable deposits from customers as they book the loads.
Many dishonest companies book loads having no intentions of ever moving
the vehicles and then keep the deposits.
The advent of the
internet made things much worse. Auto movers can set up shop in a day,
start low-ball bidding consumers right away, then disappear just as
quickly. Consumers often tend to go with the lowest price. They are
easily lured by less-than-honest auto movers.
We encourage our
customers to call us directly and talk to a Road Warriors representative
to receive a transport bid, rather than submit an internet bid. We also
encourage our customers to call us anytime to check on the status of
their vehicle(s) being transported by Road Warriors. Traditionally, most
auto transport companies are open Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00
PM, with only a few open on Saturday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Striving for
excellence in customer service, we have staff on duty Monday through
Thursday 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday 9:00
AM to 5:00 PM. |
